Our working craft distillery offering tasting tours, flights, cocktails, and neat pours. Throughout the year we offer private pairings as an elevated experience. Add in festivals and special events throughout the year, and it’s memorable moments that feel built into your stay.

Introductions
The Whiskey Experience Tasting Tour
This 45 minute experience shares stories about how Hermann began, the history of the building we’re in, an introduction to how whiskey is made, and how we got started. Our team then guides you through two neat pours of our whiskey and teaches you how to make our take on the classic Old Fashioned.
The Spicy New Yorker
Our take on the classic New York Sour is a great introduction to whiskey cocktails for the wine-loving crowd. This port-topped ginger-citrus flavor combination has a 99.9% converstion rate for spouses and friends who “don’t do whiskey”.
The Strawberry Habenero Highball
This sweet whiskey cocktail has just enough heat to leave you wanting more. This summertimey treat is comprised of smashed strawberries, ginger-citrus, lemon juice and a our of our Lionheart Small Batch Rye Whiskey and topped with craft strawberry habenaro soda. It’s one of our most popular recipes.
Get Acquainted
Neat Flight
This triple neat pour flight is accompanied by spring water. Enjoy sipping on our two flagship rye whiskey expressions along with a pour of our featured spirit of the season. It’s a great way to taste how our mashbill stacks up across our spirit lines.
Espresso Old Fashioned
This variation of the classic is a splash of rich espresso and brown sugar with a few crumbles of orange-infused dark chocolate over a large cube of ice. It’s a great way to start the day in Hermann or cap off your night before you turn in to your suite.
Whiskey Sour
Our take on this classic whiskey cocktail has a silky-smooth texture from the pasteurized egg whites. It’s frothy-top delivers a bright flavor made possible from a splash of pineapple juice added when shaken. It’s a perfect afternoon beverage to balance out a day of antiquing, shopping, or browsing the historic architecture.
Blackberry Smash
Only in season for a limited time (late summer) when the berries and mint are fresh from the family farm. This fruity sipper goes down easy and can be made in batches to share are your next barbeque or gathering.

Gather around our large community table for a three course small bite pairing. Served alongside two cocktails and a neat pour, each event’s menu is curated to the season’s flavors and ingredients…and let’s be honest—whatever Clayton feels like cooking! Tickets required and sold in advance.

Heritage Sazerac Experience
This premium tableside experience is a memorable way to celebrate any special occassion. Featuring a pour from our very own infinity bottle, Clayton shares stories while crafting your cocktail in a hand-carved crystal rocks glass. A curated pairing of seasonal meat, cheese, cracker and pickeled veggie accompanies the beverage for a small bite experience. *Recommend reserving in advance.
