Hermann is known for settling in to the night earlier than the big cities. Every suite has a 55″ Roku TV set up for your own streaming accounts. Sign in to what you already use at home, pick up where you left off, and settle in. No shared logins, no hunting for a channel we happen to have.
How It Works
- Use the remote to power on the TV and you should be greeted with a welcome screen.
- Confirm your checkout date.
- Sign in to apps like you would at home using your logins.
- At 11 a.m. on your checkout day, the TV signs you out automatically.

Not a TV person?
A Note on Privacy
We chose Roku’s Guest Mode with your privacy in mind. Your logins, viewing history, and added apps are cleared automatically at checkout. If you’d like extra peace of mind, you can also sign out yourself before you leave.
Good to Know
The date screen is showing the wrong month. What do I do?
The TV has probably lost its Wi-Fi connection. Press the star (*) button on your remote to open network settings, then reconnect using the Wi-Fi details posted in your suite. Still stuck? Text the hosts and we’ll help sort it out.
Can I rent or buy movies?
Yes, inside apps where you’re signed in with your own payment method. Purchases are not billed to us.
Do I need to sign out when I leave?
No, it happens automatically. If you’d rather do it yourself, go to Guest Mode Options on the Home screen and choose “Sign out and clear info.”

Our own Marie and Clayton spent seven hours on set. Marie made the final cut for a few seconds (see the far left side of the restaurant scene). Clayton’s shoulder is in there too if you pause at the right moment. And no, we don’t get residuals.
